Iron Man Update 15

Needless to say, Vee is not too impressed with her new set up. There seems to be gremlins that break everything. All at once. She spends a lot of time repairing things..

She hired a made (and a repairman eventually) but not much got cleaned or fixed. The maid really enjoyed the view from the balcony too and the repairman just wanted to raid her fridge and watch TV.

Seriously. Very annoying. Do your job!

Luckily her protesting was interrupted by Jed asking her to join him at a romance festival <3 It was very romantic and she forgot to demand baby kangaroos be given to all residents

Her neighbors are an elderly, and rather amorous, couple that keep her up late at night. Since confronting them doesn't seem to make a difference she took up baking to wile away the hours

Then something totally unexpected happen... A vampire came to call and let himself right in. 

(At this point in playing I had no idea they could do this. I thought it was rumor!)

I'll just go ahead and clean this for her

How does it feel to be a midnight snack?

Being a midnight snack took a lot out of Vee. She was weak and shaky for days. If not for the puncture wounds on her neck and whispers overheard about the existence of vampires, she would have had no idea what happened to her. She was so upset at the violation of her home and body she spent all of her off time researching vampires and how to protect herself from them.

Iron Man Update 14

 Vee's aspiration is City Native and she is working her way up through the ranks of blogging. Living in a small apartment is a BIG change from her huge house and open yard. And it felt crowded and lonely at the same time. After unpacking the necessities and finding the perfect spot for her new candle shelf (which she haggled for at the flea market and won) she invited Jed over and handed him a freshly cut key to her apartment with the demand that he visit all the time.

Working as a blogger was not what she expected. She enjoyed the freedom of working from home but knew she didn't know the first thing about winning big on social media. She hired a consultant that specialized in PR and the woman often sent her out of her comfort zone to "Get her face out there"

Clearly there was more to this than simply setting up an account and posting updates now and then.....

Then the game took a turn for the worse. After the update that happened around the vampre release Vee got stuck standing next to her bed and no amount of resetting would fix the problem so she had to pack everything up and move to a new apartment. Thankfully there was a place available in the building next door.

It wasn't nearly as nice but it was a bit larger. 

Vee couldn't face unpacking again so soon and decided to just keep the crappy furnishings that came with the place. It was pretty run down and nothing matched...

But that balcony more than made up for it!

She figured she'd make the place more like home as she needed, grabbed her game console, and called her sweetie over. 

 After we break in the TV  wanna break in this couch?

Her 'boss' called the next afternoon and reminded her that if she wasn't being seen, she might as well not exist! There was a bar out in the desert having a 'boys night' and that was the place to get seen and meet people

 Hey simguru guy, whats with all the money grubbing releases and lack of depth?

 I will not cheat on Jedidiah with Hot Guy at the bar. I will not cheat on Jedidiah with Hot Guy at the bar

All that time rubbing elbows at the bar and posting cute #barselfies paid off. Vee has 1,009,000 followers.

Iron Man Update 13

PHEW! Finally, finally, FINALLY Vee reached the top of the athletic career! She was super pumped that she could now retire. Being fit will always be a part of her life, she has an awesome gym to keep her motivated, but it was starting to wear down her body and she was ready for a new adventure!

Speaking of new adventures, it's time to move. I wish she could keep this house. It's really quite nice and has amazing views. After her visit to the city though, she really wanted to try something new.

It took a lot of shopping around before deciding on a place to start. Vee is a simillionaire and could literally live in the nicest place right off the bat, but she wanted to experience the spice market and try out a new, low-key, career. Well, blogging is more of a hobby, but if you can get paid for it.....

She had to have at least two bedrooms (remember that nice gym?) and enough room for a desk for her blogging. She chose 2B Jasmine Suites (honestly, she's there because it's the only open one in the spice market I haven't played in yet[though I was tempted to move a family out of theirs]) It was an area known to be family friendly because of the great schools but that was not a priority for Vee. She'll find out later what traits I gave her new place.....

Most of her possessions went into storage because this little appt was way smaller than she was used to. But a good opportunity to minimize things, right? Unpacking took a lot longer than she (or I) planned and making it Home Sweet Home will take even longer.

At least she has good internet here.
