Iron Man Update 13

PHEW! Finally, finally, FINALLY Vee reached the top of the athletic career! She was super pumped that she could now retire. Being fit will always be a part of her life, she has an awesome gym to keep her motivated, but it was starting to wear down her body and she was ready for a new adventure!

Speaking of new adventures, it's time to move. I wish she could keep this house. It's really quite nice and has amazing views. After her visit to the city though, she really wanted to try something new.

It took a lot of shopping around before deciding on a place to start. Vee is a simillionaire and could literally live in the nicest place right off the bat, but she wanted to experience the spice market and try out a new, low-key, career. Well, blogging is more of a hobby, but if you can get paid for it.....

She had to have at least two bedrooms (remember that nice gym?) and enough room for a desk for her blogging. She chose 2B Jasmine Suites (honestly, she's there because it's the only open one in the spice market I haven't played in yet[though I was tempted to move a family out of theirs]) It was an area known to be family friendly because of the great schools but that was not a priority for Vee. She'll find out later what traits I gave her new place.....

Most of her possessions went into storage because this little appt was way smaller than she was used to. But a good opportunity to minimize things, right? Unpacking took a lot longer than she (or I) planned and making it Home Sweet Home will take even longer.

At least she has good internet here.

Iron Man Update 12

There have been a lot of additions to the game since the last time I hung out with Vee. She is still pursuing her athletic career and her current aspiration is outdoor enthusiast. I can't wait to get to some of the new careers and apartments, but for now a makeover will just have to be enough.

(Did you notice there is now a "Change Sim" option on closets [and maybe dressers] that lets you almost completely edit your sim[walk, traits, etc]?? Is that from an update or do I have a MOD I forgot to remove? Is this not new and I just never noticed?)

This outfit makes inner younger me so happy

She was invited to check out a flea market that had popped up in the city and it was a lot of fun.

This lamp matches nothing she owns but for $70 she couldn't say no!

 She threw in a coin for good luck

 please please please let me get to the top of the athletic career soon! oh please!

The not so local cuisine was a lot of fun to try while people watching and she even decided to give the hookahs a try... 

They're a lot like the fruitcake. A sim loves it or hates and Vee was definitely not impressed! As she left to go home and get ready for work she thought living in an apartment in the city might be fun....

After work she caught a flight out to a camping resort in the mountains. She wasn't pleased when she realized she would be camping and not glamping

 

But once she got over being homesick, she had fun catching bugs and making herbal brews. She got so lost in the enjoyment of being one with nature, she completed the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration and accidentally completed The Curator aspiration as well!

Unfortunately she has to head back to reality to a job that takes FOREVER to get a promotion and a fabulous house that has lost it's appeal.

(not to mention the fact that I have WAY more jobs left to complete and only a handful of aspirations. I'm just going to leave the outdoor enthusiast selected until she finishes this career)
