Generation 4 - Chapter 2

Even with all her dedicated time tinkering, accidents do happen 

n fact, she spent so much time there that her birthday sneaked right up on her

June has gained the savvy sculptor trait though she has NO desire to give sculpting a try. 

"Happy Birthday sweet heart! I think you need to get out of the house more. A young lady needs some fresh air once in a while! It's your day, go meet up with some friends and have a good time" 

June decided arguing with her mother wasn't worth it. She would go out but instead of meeting with friends she decided to go into town and apply for a work permit and register as an inventor. 

It took surprising little time to accomplish that and she knew if she went home too soon she'd never hear the end of it. She decided to see what was going on the the summer festival. There were maybe 3 other sims there and it suited June just fine.

But then.... 

Hello Sailor! Where did he come from!

June just HAD to meet him. She was inexplicably drawn to this strange creature. 

"Hi, I'm June. What ARE you??" 

He had wings. WINGS! How was that even possible? 

"I'm sorry, what?" 

He seemed very nervous and taken aback by June's blunt introduction. She didn't care, she was fascinated! 

After apologizing and explaining that she didn't mean to be rude the conversation went a lot better. She felt a kindred connection to this strange boy. His name was Wilson and he had just ventured into town for the first time. His people, OMG FAIRIES!, live just outside the city limits in a secluded forest. He was the first of his kind to come in to town and be seen. 

His story was sad and exciting at the same time. Fairies had always been a part of this area but had been chased away over a hundred years ago. With the recent stirrings of the supernatural world they felt it was time to come back. June had heard of people complaining of strange, green looking sims scratching at doors and ripping up gardens in the night but she never took the whispers of zombies seriously. The Fae were investigating and Wilson, being brave, volunteered to come into town and see what he could learn. 

Then he confided that there was a spell put on him that was supposed to make his wings invisible to normal sims and he couldn't understand how June could see them. 

It made him worried that the spell was wearing off and he needed to leave before any more sims noticed and became scared and over reacted. 

"I think you're amazing! Can I please see you again?"

He got June's number and promised to call her the next time he was allowed to sneak into town.
