Generation 2 - Chapter 19

Jane was in love with Tina. She was tiny and perfect. She looked so much like Titus, she could stare at her forever. She had worried that the reminder of her lost love would be too painful, but it turned out to be more like a celebration of their love every day. The fears of her mothering ability disappeared the instant she held Tina in her arms. She knew she would be nothing like her own mother. Becoming a mother herself gave her new found perspective and therefore some sympathy. She was at last able to forgive her mother. Not because Constance deserves forgiveness but because Jane deserves to be free of the burden of resentment.

Constance never got to meet her granddaughter. Jane never even called to tell her she'd had the baby. But when news of her mothers death reached her, she allowed her to be buried next to her father on the family plot. It seemed right somehow.

Jane stayed home with Tina until her first birthday. The house was paid for and she had no debt, thanks to Titus's life ins. She went all out for Tina's birthday and invited everyone she knew.

Tina sure knew how to make herself heard!

"There there my sweet girl, Mommy's got you"

"Oh no! What is it? It's a monster claw! Hahahaha!"

Aunt Joan even came by from time to time. Having raised two of her own, she had some wisdom to share....along with news of her own.

Joan had gotten married, and NOT to Cory!

Jane spent ALL her free time with Tina, she had after all, gotten another job. This time at the school house across the street. Motherhood had given her new worries. And the one at the top of the list was little Tina's education.

"I love you, little bean"

Jane and Tina are very close. Jane just loves spending all her time with her little girl. She sure was excited to start the next phase of life with a birthday cake!

Tina as a child. She seems to resemble her aunt and cousins in the nose and hair

Since Jane was back to work and had some extra money she redecorated Tina's room

Tina is very artistic and was immediately drawn to the paints and easel. Aunt Joan is still creepy -_-

Jane and Joan had their birthdays the next day. Jane invited her sister to celebrate at her house for old time's sake

"Happy Birthday Joan!"

During the party one of her nieces was checking her FB and saw the newest gossip

Vera was out of prison!

Even worse! Her dad, Jane's and Joan's old flame Cory, was not only putting her up, but got her knocked up as well!

"Ya know what sis, we're better off with out him!"

"Happy birthday Mommy!"

    1. I was still trying to figure out how to play with MODs at this point so when I got the pop up that Cory married and knocked up Vera, I had to write it in. It was too crazy!
