Generation 8 - Chapter 8

Cherish and the dog seemed to mourn the hardest for Elgon. They were the closest to him and took comfort in each other's company.

Wind was finding it harder an harder to bring Cherish out of her shell. Ever since her grandfather's memorial service she was even quieter than before. She stopped playing with little Fatima, ignored Brenton, and avoided Wind. The dog seemed to be the only one getting any attn from the little fairy.

Wind felt very tempted to sink into her own sorrows and wondered to herself how she was going to do everything that needed to be done.

Then she remembered the visit from her mother. Perhaps if she made it easier for their departed loved ones to visit, it would help Cherish cope? She contacted Ephriam and Maya and asked where they had put all the urns. With their help she had them all laid out in the great room in a place of honor.

At first this just seemed to distress Cherish more. And it didn't help that Brenton made a big show of rolling his eyes and making sarcastic comments. teenagers!

But after a few visits of the undead, Cherish really seemed to lighten up.

Though it did worry Wind that Cherish now visited the catacomes and grave yard on a regular basis. How many more dead people could the girl want to hang out with??

Wind had to coerce Brenton to spend a little more time with her as a distraction. Slowly but surely Cherish became less quiet and moody and more like a carefree little girl she should always have been.

Now it's time to plan another double birthday party..

  1. Oh, poor Cherish! Gosh, she could end up with a weird fascination with dead people. I do hope she'll be okay.

OMG, that shot of Candace Ralphing in the toilet was too funny. I always get such a kick out of the ghosts when they visit. LOL!

    1. I am so glad NPC ghost can't get knocked up! The house would be over run with Jonas and Candace Ghost babies. Actually that would be super cute.....but still

Yeah, she's going to be a weird one, Cherish is.

  3. I found an excellent idea to create this small place of honor to the gone ones and it looks like it's helping Cherish somehow.
Beautiful the relationship between her and the dog.

    1. I think so too. But it means even MORE hauntings! I need to find a MOD that keeps my sims from stopping what they're doing when I ghost comes by.
